IMPROVED WEATHER RESISTANCE AGAINST HIGH WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN

SMOKE RESISTANT IN TEMPERATURES UP TO 200 DEGREES, COMPLIANT WITH EN 1634-3

EXCELLENT SOUND INSULATION TO BLOCK OUT EXTERNAL NOISES

Improved weather resistance

Deventer seals also offer improved waterproofing in driving rain, under large quantities of water and high wind loads. Deventer weather seal features a closed-cell structure so it does not absorb water. This makes the seal highly effective and resilient against the elements. It also reduces the risk of mildew and mould growth on the seal which leads to unsightly staining.

The focus is on better performance, and Deventer seals increase the energy efficiency of windows and doors. With superior draught reduction, they reduce cold spots. In addition, more cold air is kept outside and warm internal air is kept inside offering enhanced comfort within the building.

Better acoustics

Deventer seals give excellent sound insulation. The overlap seals improve the acoustic insulation of windows against traffic noise. They use a hollow chamber design which dampens the sound and keeps noise out.

Smoke resistant seal

As well as their water-and-draught resistant properties, safety performance is also built into Deventer VarioSoft TPE weather seal. The product is smoke resistant in temperatures up to 200 degrees and compliant with EN 1634-3.
