Internal Sales & Customer Service Executive

Purpose

To provide an excellent level of service to our existing customer base and new customers. You will assist them in understanding our products and identify solutions to fit their needs. Generating quotes and orders either from phone sales or emails, checking web placed orders and supporting the sales team with all administrative details. All whilst continuing to achieve high customer satisfaction levels. You need to be hardworking, quick thinking and be able to problem solve where required.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls in a professional and efficient manor
  • Liaise with customers on our product ranges (navigating customers on our website)
  • Take down detailed messages or requests from customers to enable inputting
  • Data entry of customer quotes and customer orders
  • Utilise inbound call opportunities to generate sales and growth opportunities
  • Respond to customer emails in a professional manor
  • Comply with all company procedures and policies
  • Proactively contribute to the ongoing development of departmental processes and policies

Support

  • You will work closely with our Operations Manager
  • Full training will be provided

About You

  • Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential (full training and support will be given)
  • A willingness to grow and progress within the company
  • A 'can do' professional approach to your work
  • Energetic and a passion to succeed  
  • A good sense of humour
  • Good attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Package

  • Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 with a 30 min lunch break (40 hours per week)
  • Salary: From £22,000 depending upon experience
  • Holiday: 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (rising after completion of 3rd year)
  • Pension: Nest Pension Scheme Enrolment
